2023-24 NFL Playoff Betting Lines For The Divisional Round

Before we get into the betting lines for the NFL Playoffs during the Divisional Round, here’s a quick recap of what went down on Super Wild Card Weekend:

  • All higher seeds advanced during the 2023-24 NFL Super Wild Card Weekend, except for the 7th-seeded Green Bay Packers, who beat the #2 Dallas Cowboys.
  • The Houston Texans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Green Bay Packers won as playoff underdogs.

Entering the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs, all four home teams are favored to win. Here is our take on the lines offered for NFL Playoff betting this weekend.

Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens Betting Line

  • Texans Point Spread: +9.5
  • Texans Moneyline: +335
  • Ravens Point Spread: -9.5
  • Ravens Moneyline: +335
  • Over-Under: 43.5

Tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. on ESPN, the Houston Texans will attempt to continue their unlikely postseason run against the number one Baltimore Ravens in Maryland. Can Houston’s CJ Stroud get it done on the road? Super Bowl betting sites suggest his winning streak will end on Saturday.

Houston captured the AFC South title in the final week of the season, earning a playoff home game against the Cleveland Browns. Their win last weekend places them up against the best regular season team in the AFC, a Baltimore squad that embarrassed the 49ers in Santa Clara earlier this year.

The Ravens are favored to win by 9.5 points, and while that seems like a massive gap, Baltimore has what it takes to cover. Unless Ravens QB Lamar Jackson has a meltdown, they should easily get past the Texans.

Green Bay Packers vs. San Francisco 49ers Betting Line

  • Packers Point Spread: +9.5
  • Packers Moneyline: +355
  • 49ers Point Spread: -9.5
  • 49ers Moneyline: -490
  • Over-Under: 50.5

Saturday’s second playoff game begins at 8:15 p.m. on FOX and features another top seed favored by 9+ points. While that may seem like a large spread in opposition to a Green Bay Packers team that is on a roll offensively, the 49ers defensive unit is elite.

San Francisco has caught more interceptions (22) than they have let up passing touchdowns (20). They’ve also allowed the third-fewest rushing yards this season. Betting on the San Francisco 49ers to cover will require them to beat the Packers by 10 or more points.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Detroit Lions Betting Line

  • Buccaneers Point Spread: +6.5
  • Buccaneers Moneyline: +240
  • Lions Point Spread: -6.5
  • Lions Moneyline: -290
  • Over-Under: 49.0

Sunday at 3:00 p.m. on NBC, the Bucs and Lions play for a chance to reach the NFC Championship Game. For Detroit, it means an opportunity to reach the conference championship for the second time in franchise history, ending a 33-year drought.

For Tampa Bay, it is a chance to leap back into the Super Bowl picture just one year removed from Tom Brady. Everything rests on the performance of Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills Betting Line

  • Chiefs Point Spread: +2.5
  • Chiefs Moneyline: +125
  • Bills Point Spread: -2.5
  • Bills Moneyline: -145
  • Over-Under: 45.5

Wrapping up the four-game docket on CBS this Sunday at 6:30 PM is a rematch of the 2021-22 Divisional Round game that KC won by a final score of 42-36. The Bills have owned Kansas City during the regular season under Josh Allen’s tenure, but he is 0-2 against Mahomes in the playoffs.

This time, Buffalo gets to host the game, but they aren’t even garnering a full three points. That means oddsmakers aren’t confident in the Bills’ ability to overcome the Chiefs, and neither are we.

We’re betting on the Chiefs to cover and expect them to win and advance one more round in the 2023-24 playoffs.
