Week 13 features a matchup of these two championship-caliber franchises, with NFC supremacy on the line. If Philadelphia wins, they will almost assuredly become the number-one seed in the NFC at season’s end.
If the San Francisco 49ers win, they re-enter the conversation to become the top seed in the National Football Conference but they’ll still have some work to do.

Anyone betting on the Eagles this weekend to cover needs them to lose by two or fewer points in order to collect a payout. It may seem strange for a 10-1 team to be an underdog at home, but San Francisco is healthy again and back to routinely blowing out teams.

The Eagles hold a five-point lead in the odds to win the NFC, but are behind the 49ers by 75 points in the 2024 SB futures. Naturally, you cannot make it to the big game without winning your conference, so what gives?
The two lines are offering probabilities on two different occurrences. The odds are created by bookmakers without consideration for what the other line suggests.
What we can cull from these projections is that the Eagles and 49ers have a nearly equal chance of winning the NFC and reaching the Super Bowl. What they are also indicating is that if San Francisco makes it to SB 58, they have a much greater chance of beating the AFC Champion than Philadelphia holds.
