Davis is currently the third from the bottom in the betting odds, locked in a tie with actor Anne Heche at +2500.
Despite the unfavorable odds placed on Davis’ chances of winning ABC’s Dancing With The Stars Season 29, his dance on last night’s show was the penultimate performance, only followed by Bachelor contestant Katlyn Bristowe who is the current favorite to win, and is also nursing an ankle injury.
If Bristowe, the current frontrunner, ends up exacerbating her ankle injury, that would likely open up an opportunity for the remainder of the field to enter back into championship consideration.
That prospect makes the odds on Vernon Davis even that much more appetizing. A $100 wager on his +2500 odds will earn a cash sum of $2500 if he takes home the Dancing With The Stars Season 29 Trophy.

If Vernon can continue to improve, he can indeed climb the ranks and make a push for the championship at the end of the season. Afterall, there have been several former NFL players that have performed well in DWTS.
