Super Bowl LIII Odds Ahead of NFL Week 17

So, who’s got a chance at winning Super Bowl LIII?

With one week left in the 2018 NFL regular season, the betting odds for each team hoisting the Lombardi Trophy in February are becoming much clearer as the season enters its final week.

However, most of the AFC and NFC playoff spots are still up for grabs ahead of Week 17, and a lot could change after Sunday, Dec. 31. One thing is certain: 12 teams (6 AFC, 6 NFC) will be locked into the postseason in less than a week and only one team will win Super Bowl LIII.

Here are the latest Super Bowl odds including the change in odds from Week 16, the current playoff picture and all possible scenarios heading into Week 17, and all the Week 17 matchups (with current point spreads) that will close out the 2018 NFL regular season.

Week 17 is a great time to find value in the Super Bowl odds since there are typically some teams hanging on for dear life that help the odds for the favorites. However, once these teams are eliminated, the value for the favorites go down significantly and will continue to fall throughout the playoffs.

Before the last week of the season kicks off, here is every possible scenario for all the NFL teams (listed from best to worst odds) that have a chance to qualify for the playoffs and potentially win the Super Bowl.

New Orleans Saints (+250)

The Saints have secured the NFC South, NFC No. 1 seed and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. 

Los Angeles Rams (+390)

The Rams can clinch the NFC No. 2 seed and a first-round bye with:

  1. a win or tie
  2. Bears loss or tie

Kansas City Chiefs (+450)

The Chiefs can clinch the AFC West, AFC No. 1 seed and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs with:

  1. a win
  2. a tie and a Chargers loss or tie;
  3. a Chargers loss + Patriots loss or tie + Texans loss or tie
  4. a Chargers loss + Patriots loss or tie + Chiefs clinch at least a tie in the strength of victory tiebreaker over Texans

The Chiefs can clinch the AFC West and a first-round bye with:

  1. Chargers loss + Patriots loss or tie
  2. Chargers loss + Texans loss or tie
  3. Chargers loss + Chiefs clinch at least a tie in the strength of victory tiebreaker over Texans

The Chiefs can clinch the AFC West with:
